Cuban Considering Buying Dodgers: TMZ.com reports that Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, is interested in buying the L.A. Dodgers if the deal was right, and the situation was fixable. Cuban also said the situation was a mess and likely to be hard to turn around.

NFL Back by July 15?: Yahoo! Sports reports that a source on the owners’ side said that a time line where the NFL is back in business by mid-July is “altogether possible.”  The owners and players have a preliminary agreement where the owners get 52% of revenue and the player get 48%.

NBA Owners Drop Insistence of Hard Salary Cap:  The Associated Press reports that the league, in an effort to avoid a lock-out, is proposing a “flex-cap” system.  This would include a targeted limit for each team to spend, but it could be exceeded by an undetermined amount.  The Players Association seems less than thrilled with the proposal as the June 30 deadline approaches.
